Jack was chosen as Winter Park History Museum's 2021 History Honoree.
We celebrate his contributions documenting and preserving the history of Winter Park and Rollins College. On December 4th, 2021 the City of Winter Park recognized Jack with a proclamation made by Mayor Anderson.

For more than three decades Jack served as a beloved history professor at Rollins.
His legacy is his enormous gift as a researcher and engaging writer of Rollins College and Winter Park history. He is credited with bringing to light the stories, struggles and achievements of both institutions.
The Lane family celebrated this special day at the WPHM office.

Board member Rick Baldwin, (on left), was also honored as "Citizen of the Year" and was chosen as the Grand Marshal of the parade.
